The Fabelmans : A Nostalgic Poster
From the first look of this poster, a youthful Spielberg looks to get up from would- be director to celluloid stardom in Hollywood.
The poster, which dropped on Wednesday, features the silhouette of a figure strutting down a cobbled street, while a large sign for Stage 25 looms above. In the background are scenes from The Fabelmans including Michelle Williams as Mitzi Fabelman, Paul Dano as Burt Fabelman, Seth Rogen as Bennie Loewy and Gabriel LaBelle as Sammy Fabelman as he holds up a camera.
The coming-of-age photo is loosely based on Spielberg’s school years and his relationship with his parents. LaBelle plays a budding young filmmaker. Williams plays a role based on Spielberg’s mother and Dano, his father. Rogen plays uncle.
The poster, which marks few details about how the protagonists appear in the pseudo-autobiographical film, precedes the world premiere of The Fabelmans at the Toronto Film Festival.

The film will then open November 11 in New York and Los Angeles in a limited release before extending nationwide on the previously announced date of Nov. 23, 2022, the day before the Thanksgiving weekend. via an opening by Universal and Amblin Partners.
