Haaland Player of the Month

Manchester City star Erling Haaland was named the Premier League Player of the Month for the month of August.

Haaland arrived at Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund this summer, and scored 9 goals in his first 5 matches in August.

It didn’t take long for Haaland to score in the Premier League, as he scored twice in his first away appearance at West Ham.After he missed scoring against Bournemouth, a match in which he touched the ball 8 times, Haaland scored a goal against Newcastle, before scoring a hat-trick against Crystal Palace.

Haaland scored a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest in 24 minutes.

Haaland became the tenth player to win the award in his first month in the Premier League, joining a list of distinguished players such as Jurgen Klinsmann, Robbie Keane, Diego Costa and Bruno Fernandes.
