Djokovic’s Message To Roger Federer : “Hard To See This Day”
Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic sent an emotional message to his Swiss rival Roger Federer.
Federer announced his retirement from tennis after the Laver Cup in London this month, after a legendary career.
Novak published a set of photos collected by Roger Federer on his Instagram account.
“It’s hard to see this day and put into words what we have shared together in this sport,” Novak commented.
“Over a decade of great moments and battles to think back on.”
Novak added, “Your career has set the tone for what it means to achieve excellence and lead with integrity and poise […] It’s an honour to know you on and off court.”

American Serena Williams, who recently announced her retirement, praised Roger Federer, who announced on Thursday that he would retire at the end of his Laver Cup career.
Serena spoke of her admiration for the Swiss star’s career, addressing him, “Welcome to the retirement club.”
Federer’s decision came weeks after Serena Williams announced her retirement, knowing that she participated in the US Open, which concluded a few days ago, and reached the third round.
Serena Williams is second with 23 titles, behind Margaret Court in the list of the most decorated players in the Grand Slam, with Court winning 24 titles.
